Graveside services for Mr. Blake Hillman, age 53, of Jackson, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Sweet Water Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Leakesville.  Blake passed from this life on February 22, 2026 in Jackson.

Blake will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and the deep pride he had in his family.  He dedicated more than 20 years of service to Delta Air Lines, working at the Jackson Airport in various aspects of flight operations. Throughout his career, he was known for his commitment, reliability, and the relationships he built with coworkers who became lifelong friends. Following his retirement from Delta, Blake continued to stay active, taking on several different jobs and remaining as hardworking as ever.

Outside of work, Blake truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved the outdoors, whether that meant spending time outside enjoying nature or gathering with friends and family. He was an avid football fan and rarely missed an opportunity to watch a game. More than anything, Blake cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Blake is survived by his children, Morgan (Zack) Mattingly and Ethan Hillman, both of Brandon; grandchildren, Hadley and Asher; parents, Glynn and Vicki Hillman of Jackson; brother, Scott Hillman of Panama City, Florida; sisters, Belinda Hillman Birdwell of Clinton and Sheri Hillman (Ashley) Foy of Byram; nieces and nephews, David (Ashley) Hillman, Anne Marie Birdwell, Tyler Birdwell, Brianna (Will) Clark, and Brooke (Chance) Thames; great-nieces and great-nephews, Landon, Bennett, Boston, and Aubree; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carmelite Monastery, 2155 Terry Road, Jackson, MS  39204.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., at the graveside prior to the service.
