Billy Joe "Joey" Palmer, Jr., of Moselle, passed away on the morning of September 7, 2025 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Joey loved spending time with his family, watching grandchildren play, and enjoying a good meal. He loved reloading and target practice with his son, Will. He was the family's hero, often on call for many flat tires and auto repairs. Joey was the all around "Mr. Fix-It." He was so proud of every child and grandchild's accomplishments.

Joey was married to Angie Palmer in 1982, who survives him. He is also survived by his children, Michelle Palmer, Rachel Palmer (Muhammed Bilal), William Palmer (Josie); grandchildren, Brendan Palmer, Breanna Harris (Makael), Bailey Walley, Rider Palmer, Evelyn Bilal, Whit Palmer, Rami Bilal; and numerous loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe, Sr. & Gwendolyn Gayle Palmer; and his brother, Edward Palmer.

The memorial service will be held at Moselle Methodist Church on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a meal to follow in the church fellowship hall. Visitation with friends and family will be from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Moselle Methodist Church or St. Judes Children in memory of Joey.
