Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2023, at Victory Heights Pentecostal Church, for Mr. Billie Ray Scarbrough, age 81, of Ovett.  Mr. Scarbrough passed from this life on March 9, 2023 at Bedford Care Center in Petal, MS.  Bro. Colon Rowell, Bro. Bobby Scarbrough, and Bro. Shane Giadrosich will officiate the service with burial to follow in Edwards Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Parker, Jackson Parker, Ronnie Parker, Ethan Odom, Forrest Scarbrough, Ricky Palmer, Johnny Scarbrough, and Braxton Byrd.

Mr. Scarbrough was a member of Victory Heights Pentecostal Church of Ovett.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator after many years of service.

Mr. Scarbrough was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Dennis; parents, Forrest and Bertha Scarbrough; sisters, Eva Mills, Laverne Touchstone, and Vivian Tillman; and brothers, Bobby Joe Scarbrough, Jr., William Hugh Scarbrough, and Odell Scarbrough.

He is survived by his sons, Donald Ray (Patty) Scarbrough of Saucier and David Earl (Angie) Scarbrough of Perkinston; brothers, James (Diane) Scarbrough and Jeffrey Mills, both of Ovett; sisters, Alberta Whiteaker of Ovett and Debbie Martinez of Ohio; niece, Selena Byrd of Ovett; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
