Services for Mrs. Billie Smith, age 69, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Smith passed from this life on August 20, 2023.  Bro. Josh Dunn will officiate the service and burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Smith, Conner Smith, Paul Johnson, Wayne Asch, Butch Dement, and Cameron Ezell.

Mrs. Smith loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. "Ricky " Smith; and parents, Bill and Alois Lane.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Paul) Johnson of Petal; son, Jeremy (Michelle) Smith of Richton; daughter, Ramona Smith of Wiggins; grandchildren, Conner Smith, Markanna Smith, Rebecca Smith, Macie Johnson, and Marlie Kate Johnson; 4 great grandchildren; and brothers, Benny Lane and Charles Lane, both of Richton.
