Graveside

INTERMENT:     Kittrell Family Cemetery

Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Billie Nell Kittrell, age 92, of Stateline, at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the Kittrell Family Cemetery in Stateline.  Mrs. Kittrell passed from this life on August 22, 2022 at Greene County Hospital.  Murland Smith will officiate the service.

Mrs. Kittrell worked as a seamstress for many years at the garment factory.  She attended Neely Methodist Church.

Mrs. Kittrell was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Kittrell; parents, Murdoc and Ina Mae Byrd; brothers, Vandy Byrd, Guy Byrd, and Willard Byrd; and sister, Omega Holly.

She is survived by her children, Roy (Rhonda) Kittrell of Stateline and Alpha (Murland) Smith of Neely; grandchildren, Greg Scoggins, Jennifer Douglas, Amy Byrd, and Denton Smith; great grandchildren, Reanna, Harley, Kayleigh, Keaton, Colby, Conner, Ashley, Hannah, and Trevor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
