Services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Jones & Son Funeral Home, Richton, MS for Mrs. Beulah Carter, age 91, of Lumberton.  Bro. Tommy Jones and Bro. Thomas Keith will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Hartfield, Stanley Hartfield, Clark Hartfield, Kelly Carter, Jimmy White, Joey Cagle, and Danny Cagle as alternate.

With grace and peace, the family of Beulah  Cagle Carter announces her passing on June 12, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on September 18, 1933, to Joseph and Elizabeth Cagle, Beulah was a lifelong nurturer, caregiver, and beloved matriarch. She was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering love—always known for her warm presence, steady wisdom, and open heart.

She shared 52 devoted years of marriage with her husband, Danny H. Carter, until his passing. Together, they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family.  Beulah was the proud mother of four children: Jhalisa L. Carter, Lekecia A. Carter, Darrell H. (Stacey) Carter, and Sherrie Jane (Neal) McInnis. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Kristen (Patrick) Lee, Courtney (Justin) Walsh, Darrell Heath (Allison) Carter, and Cody Seal. She was further blessed with great-grandchildren: Carter and Pia Lee, Eleanor and Elaine Walsh, Danny Harvey Carter, and Easton McInnis—each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Beulah is also survived by her loving sisters, Ethel Mae Nobles and Frances (Danny) Hartfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Danny; brothers Lee Edward, Luther, and Freddie Joe Cagle; and sisters Mary Ann Breland and Lula Faye Cagle.

Known affectionately as "Aunt Bea" to a host of nieces and nephews, she served as a guiding light and second mother to many. Her door was always open, her table always full, and her heart always welcoming.

She leaves behind a family united by the values she instilled—faith, compassion, and the importance of staying connected to one another.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Jones & Son Funeral Home, Richton.
