Services for Mrs. Betty Rae Stinson, age 81, of Richton, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2025 at Piave Church of Prophecy in Piave.  Mrs. Stinson passed from this life on December 18, 2025.  Bro. Justin Stinson and Bro. Tub Nicholson will officiate the service and burial will follow in Union Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Pitts, Justin Stinson, Gregory Stinson, Harrison Pitts, Landon Stinson, Carson Pitts, and Gage Stinson as alternate.

Mrs. Stinson was a member of Piave Church of God of Prophecy.  She loved to go to church and sing.  She enjoyed cooking and visiting with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Stinson; parents, Mathie and Gladys Brewer; and siblings, Maxine Johnson, Frances Ezell, Ruby Nell Brewer, Bud Brewer, and Wayne Brewer.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Herschel) Ready, Karen (Kevin) Pitts, and Glen (Sarah) Stinson, all of Richton; grandchildren, Justin (Kristina) Stinson, Gregory (Noelle) Stinson, Landon (Katelyn) Stinson, Harrison (Alli) Pitts, and Carson (Leah) Pitts; great grandchildren, Gage, Gavin, Bob, Tori, Ella, Remington, Kace, Waylon "Bigga", Ely, Rayleigh, Kooper, and Katie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
