Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery

2:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Mrs. Betty Lou Parker, age 89, of Hattiesburg who passed from this life on August 23, 2022. Dr. Keith Thompson and Bro. Darrell Sanford will officiate with burial to follow. Pallbearers will be Terry Kelly, Kamron Carter, Conner Robertson, Dallas Carter, Darrell Myers, Clay Martin and Brian Robertson as alternate.

She loved working in her yard and growing flowers. She retired from Wesley Medical Center then, worked at Dillard's Department Store.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emmett Gayle "Jackie" Sanford and second husband, Clarence Parker; parents, Fred and Annie Mae Brown; infant son, Frankie Sanford; sister, Tressie Mae Hill and brothers, Frank and Homer Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle (Johnny) Baxter of Hattiesburg; sons, Greg (Connie) Sanford of Petal and Fred Sanford of Jones Creek, TX; grandchildren, Teresa Carter, Darrell Myers, Rhonda (Brian) Robertson, Bo Sanford, Chantel Sanford; great-grandchildren, Johanna (Clay) Martin, Dallas Carter, Kamron Carter, Conner Robertson, Shelby Robertson and Braden Sanford and great great-grandchildren, Sawyer Martin and Kylie Martin.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
