6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021, for Mrs. Bernice Louise Mayo, age 95, of Richton, at the Richton Church of God.  Mrs. Mayo passed from this life on November 22, 2021 at her residence.  Bro. Evans Freeman, Bro. C. J. Rigney, and Bro. Barry Sullivan will officiate the service with burial following in Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Michael Sullivan, Caleb Sullivan, Zack Herring, Jacob Herring, Neal Walley, Kyle Walley, and Blake Walley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ellliot Freeman, Taylor Rigney, Logan Rutland, Bud Walley, Kasen Walley, Oakley Walley, and Remi Freeman.

Mrs. Mayo was preceded in death by her husband, Gavin Mayo; parents, Julius and Lena Mae Clark; son, Wesley "Bo" Mayo; daughters, Shirley Freeman, Helen Walley; and son-in-laws, Tony Freeman, C.J. Walley.  She is survived by her son, Gavin (Donna) Mayo of Bogalusa, LA; daughters, Lena Faye Freeman of Richton, Lisa (Trent) Williams of Richton; brother, Carl McCardle of Biloxi; sister, Patsy Pierce of Runnelstown; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and eleven great great granchildren.

Mrs. Mayo was a lifelong member of the Richton Church of God.

Visitation will be Friday, November 26, 2021, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Richton Church of God.
