Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Vernal Presbyterian Church, for Barbara Schultz, almost 85, of Jackson.  Barbara passed from this life on June 30, 2022 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  Pastor Steve Shuman and Pastor Ken Hall will officiate the service with burial to follow in Green Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Schultz was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Schultz; parents, Woodie and Annie McLeod; sisters, Drucie McLeod Dodd and Linda McLeod Moessner; and brothers, Robert D. McLeod, Ronald H. McLeod, Woodie Stacy McLeod, and Gary A. McLeod.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Schultz of Jackson; sons, John Thomas Schultz and Clay Alexander Schultz, both of Jackson; sister, Sarah Elizabeth "Libby" (Duke) Garraway of Ridgeland; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored, and who adored her as well.

Barbara was a shining example of a life well lived.  She was a fantastic mother and homemaker.  She loved family, especially beach trips with the entire family, and she loved to dance.  Barbara enjoyed giving to ministries she thought were truly helping people.  She had a passion for decorating and keeping her environment clean.  Barbara also had a mischievous sense of humor and enjoyed pulling pranks.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Vernal Presbyterian Church in Lucedale.
