Services for Barbara Jane Lott, age 90, will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Carterville Baptist Church in Petal.  Bro. Ben Skipper will officiate the service and burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.  Mrs. Lott peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 2, 2026 at her home in Petal, Mississippi. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we rejoice in the promise that she is now reunited in Heaven with those she so dearly loved.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Graham, Tyler King, Haydn Lott, Matthew Graham, Trey Mitchell, and Landon Carter.  Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Luke Carter.

Barbara was born on August 5, 1935, in New Albany, Mississippi to Donald and Rubye Marshall.  She lived a life rooted in unwavering faith, grace, and quiet strength. A devoted member of  Carterville Baptist Church for many years, her love for the Lord was the foundation of everything she did and the legacy she leaves behind.  She was a dedicated teacher who touched countless lives, but her greatest calling was that of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She carried a deep and enduring love for her husband, whom she longed to be reunited with for 31 years, and that joyful reunion is now complete in the presence of the Lord.

Barbara's life was a beautiful reflection of kindness, compassion, and selfless love. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family, a testament to the deep bonds she nurtured throughout her life. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her prayers, her wisdom, and the warmth of her love. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who lived a full and faithful life. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing that Heaven has gained a precious soul, and that one day we will see her again.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rex Lott; parents, Donald and Rubye Marshall; and sister, Jean Marshall (Benny) Carter.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Graham (David) of Purvis, Tracey King (Doug) of Petal, Keli Mitchell (Timmy) of Petal; one son, Bill Lott (Kim) of Petal; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, Tom Graham (Bridget); Jaison, Jayden, Eden, and William; Jennifer Graham Carter; Porter, Kynlee, and Kenzie; Matthew Graham (Amanda); Maddison, Carson, Harper, and Hattie; Krissy Welborn (Ben); Kia, T.J., and Alayna; Laiken Warren (Jacan); Tatum, Tyler, Kannon, and Kyndall; Landon Carter (Amanda); Kollyns and Carson; Luke Carter; Trish Pool (Jared); Owen; Tyler King; Kati Mitchell Karcher (Shane); Adley and  Avery; Trey Mitchell; Tripp; Kaci Mitchell Carr (Josh); Hayden, Conner, and Easton; Haydn Lott (Sarah); Zion, Nova, and Bodhi; Hanah Lott Muirhead (Austin); Colter; Hayle Lott Smith (Cody); Rayna and Ramie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
