Services for Mrs. Barbara Ann Elmore Mills will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Mills passed from this life on June 29, 2023 at her residence.  Bro. Anthony O'Neal, Bro. Josh Freeman, and Bro. Micah Mills will officiate the service with burial to follow in Dykes Chapel Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Freeman, Dustin Walley, Reign Freeman, Mason Mills, Dillon Walley, Colton Freeman, and Denny Walley.

Mrs. Mills was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Richton.  She retired as an office administrator from Jones and Son Funeral Home after 21 years of service.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Zula Elmore; brothers, Jack Elmore and Sam Elmore; and sisters, Lora Jean Odom and Althea Elmore.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Mills of Richton; son, Joey (Ellie) Mills of Ovett; daughters, Joann (Jimmie) Freeman, Janet (Dennis) Walley, and Jennifer Anderson, all of Richton; sister, Charlotte Jones; grandchildren, Jamie (Ginger) Freeman, Joshua (Brandi) Freeman, Jeanna Freeman, Micah (Sarah) Mills, Marley (Lance) McGee, Mason Mills, Dustin Walley, Dillon (Shelby) Walley, Lanae (Chris) Mattox, Reign (Kristian) Freeman, and Brianna (Micah) Walley; and 17 great grandchildren.
