Services for Mrs. Audrey Naomi Edwards, age 87, of Richton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Mrs. Edwards passed from this life on January 21, 2024 at her residence.  Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service and burial will follow in Edwards Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Cameron Carter, Avery Carter, Owen Carter, Daylin Carter, Britt Stringer, Brogan Stringe, and David Dunnam.

Mrs. Edwards loved animals and her gardening.  She also enjoyed her flowers and taking trips to Bellingrath Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ray Edwards; son, Herbert Lynn Edwards; parents, Charles W. and Bessie Carey; one sister and three brothers.

She is survived  by her sons, Edwin Ray (Diane) Edwards and Don C. Edwards, both of Richton; daughters, Audrey Gelene (Gregory) Dunnam, Beverly June (Henry) Mills, both of Richton, and Melissa Edwards (David) Buob of Edwall, WA; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
