Services for Mrs. Annette Rowell, age 85, of Ovett, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Victory Heights United Pentecostal Church in Ovett.  Mrs. Rowell passed from this life on October 24, 2024 at her residence.  Bro. Colon Rowell and Bro. Zach Rowell will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Rowell Family Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mathew Anglin, Adam Hathorne, Nick Anglin, Cash Anglin, Aaron Rowell, and Zach Rowell.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael Doggett and Caleb Anglin.

Mrs. Annette worked for many years as an LPN.  She loved to take care of people and animals. She was a mother to many and welcomed all to her table.  She loved the Lord and strove everyday to serve Him and make sure others could see His glory in her.  She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth Rowell; son, Marshall Rowell; grandson, Levi Rowell; and daughter-in-law, Janice Rowell.

She is survived by her children, Dimple Hathorne of Ovett, Robin (Billy) Anglin of Richton, Kenneth Lavon (Ponda) Rowell of Hattiesburg, Colon (Lynn) Rowell of Ovett, and Thomas Terry (Vel) Doggett of Richton; daughter-in-law, Sherry (Wayne) Rand of Ovett; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
