Services for Mrs. Anne Hollimon, age 98, of Ovett, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Hollimon passed from this life on July 6, 2024 in Ovett, Mississippi.  Burial will follow the service in Mt. Olive Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Hollimon, Jr., Brendon Hollimon, Jake Hollimon, Brayden Hollimon, Connor James, and Aiden McNelly.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Lott and Evan Lott.

Mrs. Hollimon was retired from Perry County where she served as tax assessor and collector for 24 years.  She was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hollimon; daughter, Virginia Ann "Ginger" Hollimon; parents, Lawson and Estelle Myers; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Larry Hollimon of Ovett; grandsons, Brian (Shelly) Hollimon and Brad (Kerstin) Hollimon, both of Ovett; great grandchildren, Brendon (Abbey) Hollimon, Baylee (Aiden) McNelly, Brayden Hollimon, Brad (Jessica) Hollimon, Jr., Jake (Gabbi Runnels) Hollimon, and Connor James, all of Ovett; great great grandchildren, Bradley Hollimon and Jasmine Hollimon, both of Ovett; and a great great granddaughter and great great grandson on the way.
