Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in the Jesus Name Church of Ellisville for Mr. Alvin Setliff, age 76, of Moselle. Mr. Setliff went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 25, 2023 in Lenoir City, TN. Bro. David Williams will officiate with burial to follow in the Bullock Cemetery of Sanford. Pallbearers will be Michael Setliff, Jr., Randy Gorum, Chas Bass, Dalton Christy, Aidan Setliff and Charley Setliff.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Setliff; parents, Loyd and Rubenia Setliff and brother, Don Setliff.

Mr. Setliff is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Setliff of Moselle; children, Ann (Randy) Gorum of Sharp, LA, Charles (Mary Ann) Setliff of Boyce, LA and Michael (Kimberly) Setliff of Petal; grandchildren, Lacey Bass, Hana Christy, Aidan Setliff, Michael Setliff, Jr. and Alexis Setliff; great-grandchildren, A.V. Bass, Addilyn Bass, AnnaLee Christy, Axton Christy and Yilanna Ungos.

He worked as an equipment operator most of his life. He was a faithful member of the Jesus Name Church of Ellisville. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – until on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Jesus Name Church of Ellisville.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
