Services for Mr. Alton R. "Buck" Clark, Jr., age 72, of Beaumont, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Jones & Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. Clark passed from this life on August 8, 2026 in Petal, Mississippi.  Bro. Shane Giadrosich and Bro. Scott Morris will officiate the service and burial will follow in Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hintonville.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tim "Speedy" Shows, Danny Clark, Israel Pipkins, Van Giadrosich, Little Bobby McSwain, and Phillip Cain.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Corey "Big 10" Lott, Lane Clark, and Jimmy Hardy.

Buck was a hardworking and devoted man who spent more than 50 years of his life as a truck driver. His dedication to his work was a reflection of the strong and dependable person he was.

When he wasn't working, Buck enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish and appreciated the peace and beauty of the great outdoors. Most of all, Buck treasured the time he spent with his family and friends. Those close to him will remember the many good times, stories, and memories they shared together.

Buck will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of hunting and fishing, his appreciation for the outdoors, and, most importantly, his love for family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton R. and Audrey Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Brenda J. "Caddy" Clark of Gilbertown, AL; daughters, Misty Clark (Chad Barnes) and Bernadette (Eric) Dykes, both of Richton; grandson, Peyton (Gracie) Dykes; granddaughter, Kailee (Brannon) Riley; great grandchild, Cash Dykes; sister, Michelle (Jimmy) Hardy of Bay Minette, AL; stepdaughter, Angela Moseby of Mobile, AL; 3 stepsons of Gilbertown, AL; and 7 step grandchildren.
