Services for Mr. Aaron Byrd, age 43, of Richton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. Byrd passed from this life on March 29, 2025 at his residence.  Bro. Jeff Byrd and Bro. Nick Chatham will officiate the service and burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Byrd, Justin Huguet, Issac Byrd, Josh Smith, Ken Nicholson, and Blake Nicholson, with Eric Holley and John Blaylock as alternates.  Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Weston Byrd.

Aaron worked as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, most recently for Valaris Drilling.  He loved hunting, fishing, riding his buggy, and just being outdoors.  His greatest joy was spending time with his babies.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Crawford, Sr. and Pauline Byrd and Macrine Freeman; aunt, Marilyn Smith; and uncle, Larry Freeman.

He is survived by his parents, Crawford (Tammy) Byrd and Helen (Ken) Nicholson; children, Weston Bennett Byrd and Laurel Elizabeth Byrd; siblings, Joshua (Alison) Byrd, Leanna (Eric) Holley, Justin (Haley) Huguet, Blake (Shelby) Nicholson, and Brent Nicholson; grandfather, Marlin Freeman; aunts, Regena (Bo) Bailey, Jeanette Freeman, Norma (James) Edwards, and Renee Brewer; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
